Die Installation bestand aus drei Elementen, die Teil einer Reihe von Fragmenten sind und hier zusammengefasst wurden. Die drei Elemen- te sind technisch (z. B. die Wiedergabe der Schallplatten) nicht zueinan- der synchronisiert. Die jeweiligen Loops überlagern sich zeitlich also nach dem Zufallsprinzip, während der Sound in einer PA zusammen- läuft und dessen Lautstärke festgelegt ist.

Von einer einseitig bespielten Schallplatte ist eine tiefe, mit Hall- und Delayeffekten bearbeitete, flüsternde Off-Stimme zu hören. Diese spricht insgesamt sechszehn Aussagen, welche zu Vierergruppen zusammengefasst sind. Zwischen den Gruppen besteht jeweils eine längere Pause. Der gesamte Track dauert ca. 2.20 min und wird über einen Plattenspieler mit „repeat”-Funktion stetig, von Anfang an wiederholt:
„I see the light. I feel love. Jack your body. The future is here. - If there is a fear, control it. Move your body. Shake your body. Work that body. - Find your particular space in time. Don’t let the world change you. Can you feel it? From nothing to everything. - Ignore history. We're gonna do something real serious! Just point yourself in the direction of your dreams. The ultimate seduction.”

Das Video zeigt eine grüne, fluoreszierende Scheibe in einem schwar- zen Raum. Die Scheibe wird aus zwei jeweils statischen Perspektiven gezeigt - einmal von rechts, einmal von links - vorne und hinten. Beide Ansichten sind durch eine schwarze Blende getrennt und wechseln sich jeweils ab.

Von einer einseitig bespielten Schallplatte sind Geräusche zu hören. Sie stammen von dem Rand eines Braunkohletagebaus bzw. dem Ort, an dem bis vor einigen Jahren ein Dorf gelegen hatte. Heute liegt dieser Ort inmitten des Tagebaugebietes und ist nicht mehr zugäng- lich. Der gesamte Track dauert ca. 4 min und wird über einen Platten- spieler mit ”repeat”-Funktion stetig, von Anfang an wiederholt.

The installation consisted of three elements which are part of a series of fragments. The three parts were not synchronized to each other, so that the different loops were overlaping random-like. The whole sound was played back via one soundsystem on a static level of sound.

Played from a single-sided vinyl-record, a dark and whispering off-voice, processed with reverb- and delay-effects was heard. The voice was telling sixteen phrases which were sorted in groups of four - the groups where divided by intermissions of silence. The whole track lasts about 2.20 minutes and was played back and repeated via an automatic record-player:

The video was showing a green, fluorescending disc in a dark room, filmed from two different angles. Both views were presented alternately and were divided by black. There was was no sound included on the video.

Duplate-record, record-player, soundsystem
Played from a single-sided vinyl-record, sounds were heard. They were recorded at the edge of a open-cast mining area, which is located at a place where a few years ago a village was located. The village “Etzweiler” was broken off bit by bit since the late nineties and was relocated some kilometres away. The whole track lasts about 4 minutes and was played back and repeated via an automatic record-player.
